OpenTable Wraps Up 2008 by Hitting New MilestonesSAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — December 18, 2008 — OpenTable, Inc. (www.opentable.com), a leading provider of free online reservations for diners and guest management systems for restaurants, today announced that the company is ending 2008 having achieved two major business milestones. In the beginning of December, the company seated its 85 millionth diner through online restaurant reservations. Additionally, the OpenTable network now exceeds 10,000 customers, which is nearly 2,000 more restaurants than the company had at the beginning of the calendar year. These restaurants serve an average of nearly three million guests each month through online reservations booked via OpenTable.com.

“These metrics reinforce the appeal of OpenTable to diners and the value of our guest management systems to restaurants,” said Jeff Jordan, CEO of OpenTable. “To have achieved these milestones in this economic climate underscores the strength of our product to both diners and restaurants.”
