SAN FRANCISCO, Jul 29, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Parents who love restaurants can still enjoy great meals when dining with kids. OpenTable, Inc. (Nasdaq:OPEN) (www.opentable.com), a leading provider of free online reservations for diners and guest management systems for restaurants, today announced the national winners of its second annual Diners' Choice awards for restaurants its diners deemed the most kid-friendly. The list of winning restaurants is derived from more than five million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

"Dining out has definitely become a family affair, and as the restaurants on this list indicate, kid-friendly dining can be upscale. You're no longer limited to low-end fare when you've got little ones in tow," said Caroline Potter, Chief Dining Officer, OpenTable. "In fact, this list proves that it's easier than ever to enjoy fine food in an atmosphere that's welcoming to diners of all ages."

Based on feedback collected from OpenTable diners between August 2009 and July 2010, the following 50 restaurants, listed in alphabetical order, received the highest scores from OpenTable diners, indicating that they were considered among the top restaurants for kid-friendly dining.
